History of AVS Industries Ltd.

The Comp. was incorporated as a Private Limited Comp. on 12th March, 1984 under the name of Jawahar Steel and Alloys Pvt. Ltd., in the state of Maharashtra. It was originally promoted by Shri N.S.Desai & Shri A.C.Parekh. Later Shri G.D.Singhi took over this Comp. as a sick unit in the year 1990 with the approval of SICOM. It was converted into a Public Limited Comp. on 06.09.91 & the name was changed to AVS Industries Ltd., on 08.10.91.

The Comp. is presently engaged in the manufacturing of ERW Black Tubes and Pipes at Village Vikramgadh, Taluk:Jawhar, District:Thane, in the state of Maharastra with an installed capacity of 10,000 MT per annum. The Comp. in association with Mr.Awlad Al Nasser & Mr. K.K. Agarwal & Indian Products Trade Comp. Pvt. Ltd., has participated in a joint venture at Abu Dhabi [U.A.Es] & towards its share has invested UAE Dhirams 450,000 [450 shares of U.A.E Dihrams 1,000 each equivalent to Indian Rs.31.73 lakhs in Companys]. The company equity in this joint venture is engaged in manufacture of torsteel mainly of 8/10/12/6 MM dia [steel ingots, billets & rolled productss]. The joint venture has already started commercial production.
