History of Aadi Industries Ltd.

The Comp. was incorporated on April 21, 1994, as JRC Finvest Limited, in the office of Registrars of Companies, Gujarat at Ahmedabad. The Comp. obtained the Certificate for the Commencement of Business on May 3, 1994.

The Comp. has since commenced operations in the areas of bill discounting, investments, trading in shares. lending and investment in real estates.

MAIN OBJECTIVES: The Main Object of Comp. as set out in the Memorandum of Association is as under:

1. To carry on & undertake the business as Financiers & to finance lease operations of all kinds, such as hiring, letting on hire & dealing in all kinds of properly, movable and immovable, goods, chattels, motor cars, motor buses, vehicles, plant, land & building, machinery of all types & bullion stocks, shares, & securities issued by any Company; & to finance industrial enterprises & to promote companies engaged in industrial & trading business.

2. To carry on the business of an investment Comp. & to invest the capital & other moneys of Comp. & to enter into forward & speculative transactions in the purchase or upon the security of shares, stocks, units, debentures, debenture stock, bonds, mortgages, obligations & securities issued or guaranteed by any Company, corporation or undertaking of whatever nature, whether incorporated or otherwise, and wheresoever constituted or carrying on business & to buy, convey sell or otherwise deal in shares, stocks, debentures, debenture stock, bonds, notes mortgages, obligations & other securities issued or guaranteed by any government, sovereign, ruler, commissioners, trust, municipal, local or other authority or body of whatever nature in India or abroad.

3. PRESENT BUSINESS: The Comp. has commenced commercial operations since July 1994 and presently has an equity base of Rs. 300 lakhs.

The Comp. has discounted trade bills to the extent of Rs. 77 lakhs. In the area of investment banking the Comp. has so far deployed Rs. 165 lakhs for purchase of shares & units. The Comp. has also disbursed Rs. 23.50 lakhs as short term lending to various Companies. The Comp. has also invested Rs. 53.90 lacs in the real estate in Dahanu Dist. Thane to develop 7000 sq.ft. of commercial area & 2500 sq.ft residential area.
