History of Acrysil Ltd.

Acrysil India limited was incorporated in the year 1987, the Comp. is promoted by Mr. Parekh & Mr. M.F. Tamboli in collaboration with Shock and Co.Gmbh, Germany to manufacture Kitchen Sinks from acrylic/quarts composite quarts kitchen centres in India & it is marketed under the brand 'Carysil'. Comp. also produces Thermoplastic profiles for Automobile industry. Comp. also has a joint venture with DU pont a American Comp. for manufacture of Corian products. In 1992 implemented a low cost diversification project at it existing plant at Kavetej village in Gujarat to manufacture Thermoplastic co-extruded profile, a 100% import substitute project. The Comp. also produces decorative lighting shades, photo frames plastic doors & furniture edge profile, etc.

The Comp. is also in the export market with it Sinker being exported to France, the Gulf & South East Asian countries. As of now it is the Sole Supplier of co-extruded profiles to Maruti Udyog & plan to cover other automobile manufacture Comp. come out with right issue in May 1992.

2002-Acrysil Ltd has informed that the Board of Directors at its meeting held on October 28, 2002 appointed Mr Chirag A Parekh as an Executive Director of Comp. with effect from November 2, 2002.
