The Comp. was incorporated in 1957.

The Comp. manufactures sulphuric acid & super phosphate. The Comp. has also put up a plant to manufacture Maleic Anhydride with a capacity of 3000 tonnes per annum in technical collaboration with Halcon, U.S.A.

The existing & new sulphuric Acid plant are equiped with Double Catalysts Double Absorption process. The accounting year was changed from 31st December to 31st March in 1987.
