History of Ahmedabad Gases Ltd.

Ahmedabad Gases Ltd, was incorporated as a private limit of Companies, Gujarat, at Ahmedabad, on 25-08-92 under the Companies Act, 1956. The Comp. was later converted Into a public limited c passed by Comp. on 20-10.92 & a fresh Certificate was obtained on 9-11-92.

It is proposed to manufacture industrial & medical gases at G.I.D.C. Industrial Area, Vatva, Ahmedabad in the State of Gujarat. Total cost of project is estimated to be Rs.365 lacs. The Comp. has already installed some prime machinery & production of oxygen has already commenced.

PRESENT BUSINESS

After incorporation, the Comp. started trading activities in 1992. The Comp. commenced the production of gases from September 1993 on installation of machinery.

MAIN OBJECTS OF THE COMPANY

The main objects of Comp. as set out in the Memorandum of Association of Comp. Includes inter-alia the following :

To carry on business of manufacturers, processors, producers, mixers, importers, suppliers, stockists, distributors, sellers, buyers & to otherwise deal all kinds of Industrial amd medical gases & gaseous substances, their products & bye products without. prejudice to the generality in the aforesaid oxygen, nitrogen, liquid oxygen, dissolved acetylene, compressed air, argon, ammonia, freeon, carbondioxide, dry ice, nitrous Oxide special gases & gas mixtures carbonic acid, hydrogen or, any process.

To carry on the business of manufacturers producers, processors, mixers, importers, exporters, suppliers, buyers, sellers & to otherwise deal in lamps of containing gases, gas manufacturing plants & apparatus & accessories.
