History of Alert Petrogas Ltd.

The Comp. was incorporated as Alert Trading Company Limited with the Registrar of Companies, Maharashtra at Mumbai on April 18, 1980. The Comp. had made a public issue of Equity Shares in 1980 & the shares of the Company are listed on the Stock Exchange at Mumbai. To reflect the activities of company, the name of the Company was subsequently changed to Alert Petrogas Limited and consequent to the change, a fresh Certificate of Incorporation was issued by Registrar of Companies, Maharashtra, at Mumbai on December 29, 1994.

The Comp. was initially engaged in trading activities. In 1994, it initiated steps for setting up an LPG bottling plant at Mehsana Dist. in Gujarat with in installed capacity of 11,500 MT per annum which was commissioned in September 1995.

The Comp. now proposes to establish another unit for bottling of LPG with an installed capacity of 11,500 MT p.a.
