History of Alumeco India Extrusion Ltd.

The Comp. was incorporated as a Public Limited Comp. on 22nd August, 1988 & registered with the Registrar of Companies, Andhra Pradesh, at Hyderabad. The Comp. had obtained certificate of commencement of Business on 9th September, 1988.

The immediate object of Comp. is to set up project at Kallkal village, Medak District, A.P. for manufacture of 6,250 TPA of aluminium extrusions.

The Comp. has been promoted by Mr. M. Rajendra Prasad, Mr. A. Seshagiri Rao & Progressive Constructions limited The Comp. has obtained capital goods clearance & Import Licence for import of equipment. The other equipment such as furnaces & material handling system is being procured indigeneously.

2001 - The Comp. bought back 1,29,661 shares of Rs 10 each held by IDBI at Rs 15 per share.
