History of Amarjothi Spinning Mills Ltd.

YEAR EVENTS 1987 - The Comp. was incorporated as a Pvt. limited Co. on 16th December. It as converted into a Public limited Co. on 27th February 1992. The Comp. was promoted by Shri N. Rajan Associates. The object of Comp. is the setting up of an Unit for the manufacture of Spun Cotton Yarn.

- The Comp. set up a spinning unit with an installed capacity of 12,096 spindles.

1993 - During January the Comp. came out with a public issue of 29,00,000 No. of equity shares of Rs. 10 each for cash at par to part finance its project.

- 22,00,000 No. of equity shares of Rs. 10 each allotted to Promoters, Directors, their friends and relatives. 2,00,000 No. of equity shares of Rs. 10 each allotted to LIC Mutual Fund, 2,00,000 No. of equity shares of Rs. 10 each allotted to Canbank Mutual Fund & 29,00,000 No. of equity shares of Rs. 10 each for cash at par allotted to the public.

1995 - 12,50,000 No. of equity shares of Rs. 10 each at a premium of Rs. 18 per share allotted to the promoters.
