History of Amit International Ltd.

Amit International limited [AILs], was incorporated as a Public Limited Comp. on the 18th February, 1994 in the state of Maharashtra with its Registered Office at 403 A. Dalamal Chambers, 29, New Marine lines, Bombay, for manufacture of cotton sports socks. The Comp. bad obtained certificate of commencement of business on February 23, 1994. The Comp. after its incorporation took over the partnership firms of Amit Exports [Indias] and Minal Exports on September 30, 1994. Amit Exports [Indias] & Minal Exports, existing profit-making partnership firms engaged in the manufacture of Cotton Sports Socks were established in the year 1988. On September 30, 1994 the partnerships were dissolved & Amit International limited became the proprietor of two concerns. AIL continued the existing profitable business of manufacture & export of cotton sports socks in the same names but as proprietary concern. The assets of partnership concerns HAVE NOT BEEN REVALUED & were taken over by Comp. at book value & no goodwill has been charged to AIL for take over. The other existing partners retired from the partnership firms & were allotted shares in Amit International limited in lieu of their capital Acc. as on September 30, 1994.
