History of Anco Communications Ltd.

YEAR EVENTS 1986 - The Comp. was incorporated as a public limited Comp. on 16th June, as per the provisions of Companies Act, 1956.

- The Comp. has obtained the certificate of commencement of business from the Registrar of Companies, Karnataka on 2nd July.

- ANCO Communications Limited was technically qualified and experienced small scale industries who were already in the Telecommunications field with an intention of creating a capacity of manufacturing Telecom products. This novel idea is firist of its kind in India.

- The Comp. received the twin awards for productivity council and for quality by way of self certification status. The Comp. got the staus of self certification from the Department of Telecommunications for supplying Zero defects products over the quality of its products being supplied to the Customers/Users without going through 100% inspection, on a continiuos basis.

1993 - The Comp. has entered into an agreement, for Transfer of Technology, with the Centre for Development of Telematics [C-DOTs].

1994 - The Company, anticipating a very good future for Satellite Communication equipments in India, especially the V-SATs [Very Small Aperture Terminal Equipmentss] has entered into a Memorandum of understanding for Technical collaboration with Satellite Engineering Group based At U.S.A., for he manufacture and installation of V-SATs to Department of Telecommunications and other potential customers.

1995 - The Comp. had entered the capital market for first time for part financing its projects by way of public Issue of 27,45,355 Equity shares of Rs.10/- each at par aggregating to Rs.274.54 lacs.

1996 - The Comp. has taken up the project for launching of 'Public Mobile Trunking Radio Services' in Bangalore & Mangalore with technology from Motorola, USA. This is the first Comp. in the country to introduce the above services under the brand name of 'ANCO TEAM PHONE'.

- The Comp. has entered into a marketing arrangement with M/s. INTER Active Media Technologies Inc, Florida, USA, for providing Call Back Services, who also have the expertise for providing Voice Mail Services.

1997 - The Comp. has entered the non-conventional energy Sector for Telecommunication applications & is now further diversifying into Non-DoT products, where huge potential is available.

- Anco Communications Ltd is engaged in manufacturing and supplying telecom equipment.

- The Comp. comprises an authorised capital of one crore equity shares of Rs.10 each, issued capital of 49,72,700 shares of Rs.10 each & subscribed & paid up capital of 40,03,045 shares of Rs.10 each.

1998 - The Comp. has received ISO 9002 Certification for quality management systems of its products.

1999 - The Comp. has technical collaborations with the US-based Bits and Bytes Inc & Comsat RSI Global Communications Inc for the manufacture of equipment for Satcom networks in the country.

2000 - The Comp. has entered into an alliance with Bits & Bytes of the US to manufacture & supply of diverse satellite communication related products & communication.

2002-Anco Communications Ltd has informed that Mr A Aswatha Raju, Comp. Secretary has resigned from the position of Comp. Secretary.
