The Comp. was originally incorporated as SHEZ CHEMICALS LIMITED on 17th December, 1983. Subsequently the name of Comp. was changed to SHEZ CEMENTS LIMITED on 17th October, 1985. The Main Objects of Comp. are fully set out in the Memorandum & Articles of Comp. & stated elsewhere in the letter of offer. The Comp. is setting up a plant to manufacture Ordinary Portland Cement & also the complete range Special Cements with an installed capacity of 1,32,000 M.T. per annum.

2000 - Hyderabad-based Comp. acquired by family members of erstwhile cement mogul Dr B/ V/ Raju last year to acquire the gas power division of Vennar Ceramics Ltd, controlled by same promoters, in a stock deal at a likley swap ratio of 1:1.
