YEAR EVENTS 1995 - Mridol Pharmaceuticals Limited was incorporated on 9th February, with the Registrar of Companies, Maharashtra at Mumbai and certificate of commencement of business was obtained on 7th March. The Comp. was promoted by Shri Sandeep Parwal & Shri Harinarayan Attal.

- The Comp. proposes to set up a project for manufacturing, filling & packing of hard gelatine capsules at the Union Territory of Daman and Diu.

1996 - The Company Public Issue of 57,00,000 Equity shares of Rs.10/- each for cash at par opened for subscription on 15th February, & was over subscribed.

1997 - The Industrial Development Bank of India has sanctioned a Term Loan of Rs.490/- Lakhs during the year against the expansion of the project for pharmaceutical formulation in addition to manufacturing of Empty Hard Gelatine Capsules Filling & Blister Packing of Capsules.

1998 - The name of Comp. be & is hereby changed from MRIDOL PHARMACEUTICALS LIMITED to ANKUR DRUGS AND PHARMA LIMITED.

1999 - The Comp. is at present manufacturing formulations on loan licence basis for reputed companies like Cipla Ltd., Nicholas Piramal [Indias] Ltd.

- The Comp. is consuming energy by way of Electricity and LDO/Furnace oil which taken together are important inputs and receives the focussed attention of Board.
