History of Aro Granite Industries Ltd.

YEAR EVENTS 1988 - The Comp. was incorporated as a private limited Comp. on 3rd May & was converted into a Public Limited Comp. with effect from 4th April 1989. The Comp. was promoted by Sunil K. Arora & Sunil Arora & Prem Arora.

- The Comp. had set up a project for manufacture of Granite Tiles [Polisheds] with an installed capacity of 72,000 Sq. mts. at SIPCOT Industrial Area, Hosur, Dist. Dharmapuri, Tamilnadu.

1995 - During January the Comp. offered 30,00,000 No. of equity shares of Rs. 10 each for cash at a premium of Rs. 10 per share of which 2,50,000 shares were offered to promoters, directors, their friends & relatives. 3,75,000 shares were offered to ICICI, 5,70,000 shares were offered NRIs, FIIs, OCBs, 15,400 shares were offered to the employees & the balance 17,89,600 shares were offered to the public. All were taken up.

1996 - 14,00,000 Shares were held by promoters. 2,80,000 shares allotted on conversion of Convertible Cumulative Preference shares held by ICICI.

2003 - Comp. is being awarded with 'Special Export Award' by Chemical and Allied Product Export Promotion Council [CAPEXILs] for its outstanding export performance during the year 2002-2003 by Government of India on November 7, 2003.

2008

-The Comp. has issued Bonus Shares in the Ratio of 1:2.

2009

- Aro Granite Industries Ltd has appointed Sh. Rahul Gupta as Additional Director of Company.
