History of Arvind International Ltd.

The Comp. was incorporated on 10th May 1991 with the Registrar of Companies, West Bengal at Calcutta under the name & style of Arvind International Private Limited. It wcs converted into a Public Limited Comp. by a special resolution possed by Comp. & a fresh Cerificate of Incorporation dated 10th August, 1994 was obtained from the Registrar of Companies, West Bengal. At Calcutta.

The Comp. till recently was involved in the business of trading of Chemicals & trading & investment in shores & securities. The Comp. now proposes to discontinue the said activities & the previous investments are being liquidated for investment in the project to manufacture Polyurethane foam with an installed capacity of 2400 MT per annum near Jaipur in the state of Rajasthan.

To part finance the project, the Comp. expects to realise Rs. 56 lacs[approxs] from the liquidation of existing investments & out of this Rs.55.69 lacs are being reinvested in the new project.
