The Comp. was incorporated on 22nd August 1970. The main object of Comp. is to manufacturing CRCA Steel Strips. With the view to modernise the existing plant & create facilities for manufacture of high value added products for Original Equipment Manufacturers the Comp. has undertaken a modernisation cum expansion programme involving an outlay of Rs 2348 lakhs. The first phase of programme has already been completed & the second phase is expected to be completed by December 1990.

The modernisation will also result and range enhancement in capacity utilisation reduction in scrap wastage & improvement in overall efficiency of plant. With the rapidly increasing demand for steel strips in the country, the future prospects of Comp. are bright.
