YEAR EVENTS 1993 - The Comp. was incorporated on August 03, as Avon Organics Limited. It obtained certificate of commencement of business on July 5, 1994, promoted by Mr. P.R. Agarwal, Mr. Rajesh Agarwal & Dr. G.S. Sidhu.

- The Comp. proposes to manufacture Diketene and derivatives - Mono Methyl Acetoacetamide [MMAs] & Methyl Aceto Acetate [MAAs]. Diketene is the mother chemical & is in itself not sold.

1994 - The Comp. has entered into a Tripartite Agreement dated 12th October 1994, for which the Department of Industrial Development, Secretariat of Industrial Approvals, Ministry of Industry, has given permission vide their letter FC.II No:90[93s]/4/ILF/93 dated April 2nd, 1993, with Shanghai Machinery and Equipment Import and Export Corporation [SMECs], on behalf of Shanghai Peng Pu Chemical Works [SPCWs] for technology transfer & with Xytel Technologies Partnership, U S A for co-ordination & transfer of technology [between the Comp. & SMECs].

2000 - Avon Organics limited the Hyderabad-based pharmaceutical company into the manufacture of chemical intermediates, proposes to venture into the area of bio-technology.
