History of DR Softech and Industries Ltd.

YEAR EVENTS 1979 - The Comp. was incorporated on 20th December as D.R. Synthetics Textiles Pvt limited It was subsequently converted into D.R. Industries Ltd & a fresh certificate of incorporation was obtained on 7th May, 1991.

- The Comp. was promoted by D.R.Desai for setting up a texurising plant of 225 TPA of Partially Oriented Yarn [POYs] at GIDC Estate, Ankleshwar, District, Bharuch in Gujarat. The Comp. commenced commercial production in 1981. The processing capacity was subsequently increased to 975 TPA with an addition of 2 more texturising machines in 1983 & 1989.

- The Comp. presently markets the texurising yarns both directly to weavers & through brokers in the wholesale markets. Moreover, it also gets the texturised yarn processed [twisted & dyeds] on a job work basis & sells under its own name.

2000 - The Comp. suspension in trading of equity shares of Dr Softech and Industries Ltd will be revoked effective from 6th September.
