History of Dera Paints and Chemicals Ltd.

The Comp. has been incorporated on 23-07-1990 & received its certificate of commencement of business with effect from 21st Sept. 1990. The Comp. started trading in auto & decorative paints and also started looking out for expansion activity of Comp. in order to achieve its object readily the management decided to amalgamate the running business of Deep Jyote Paints and Chemicals Pvt.Ltd on going concern basis. With a view to amalgamating the business, the Comp. made an appliation to Honourable High Court of Bombay with the scheme of amalgamation. The Honourable Bombay High Court affirmed the scheme of amalgamation of business of Deep Jyote Paints and Chemicals Pvt.Ltd with the Comp. with effect from 01-04-91 by order dated 25th June, 1992. Consequent upon the amalgamation the Comp. entered into manufacturing business of auto & decorative paint, thinner industrial solvents & also diversify into manufacture of Cold Pretreatment Chemicals.
