Design Auto System limited was incorporated as a Pvt. limited on 4th May, 1987 & was converted into a public limited Comp. on 3rd September, 1993. The Comp. has obtained the fresh certificate of incorporation from the Registrar of Companies, by passing special resolution at its EGM held on 16.08.1993 from ROC Madhya Pradesh at Gwalior on 3rd September, 1993. The Comp. has set a project as a SSI unit for manufacture of Automobile Electrical components, Ignition Coil [Epoxys] at a capacity of 1,80,000 P.A.

The Comp. has a good demand for its products & has got national marketing network of over 300 dealer spread all over the country. The Comp. is a reputed supplier of quality Automobile components to Bajaj Auto Limited, LML Limited, Maharashtra Scooters Ltd, Enfield [Indias] Limited etc. The orders from these Original Equipment Manufacturers [OEMss] are on a continous basis. The Comp. has obtained acknowledgement from SIA, Government of India, New Delhi, vide letter dated 4th February, 1994 as the Comp. won't bee SSI unit after the proposeed expansion and moderenisation.
