History of Dewan Tyres Ltd.

The Comp. was incorporated on 27th August 1983. The Comp. manufactures and deals in tyre and other rubber goods, including synthetic rubber and raw materials, etc.

The Comp. commenced production in March 1987 with an installed capacity of 5 lakhs tyres and 6 lakhs tubes. The company products are already marketed under the brand name 'USHA'.

The companys turnover during the current year increased from Rs 15.72 crores to Rs 23.91 crores [annualised Rs. 19.12 croress]. The Comp. earned a profit of Rs. 14.40 lacs [annualised Rs 11.53 lacss] as against loss of Rs 43.61 lacs last year. Quality of company products has also improved.
