History of Dina Iron and Steel Ltd.

The Comp. is setting up a project to manufacture 30,000 TPA Mild Steel Wire Rods at Patna. The project was expected to start its commercial production by July 96, as per our earlier estimate. However due to unforeseen circumstances the commercial production is delayed by about one year. The delay in commercial production was mainly due to certain changes in machinery suppliers & import of certain equipments which was not envisaged earlier.

-Dina Iron and Steel Ltd has informed that at the Board Meeting of Comp. held on January 19, 2004, it was decided, subject to the approval of shareholders, to voluntarily delist the equity shares of Comp. from the Magadh Stock Exchange Association, the Calcutta Stock Exchange Association Ltd., & the Delhi Stock Exchange Association Ltd.
