History of Dr. Agarwal Eye Hospital Ltd.

The Comp. was incorporated on 22nd April 1994 with the Registrar of companies, Tamil Nadu at Madras & obtained the certificate of commencement of business of 12.07.94. Dr.Agarwal & his family are in the business of providing total eye care for past three decades. Though the corporate entity Dr.Agarwal Eye Hospital Limited is new, the promoters of this venture have a tack record of more than 35 years in successfully running the eye hospital. Upto 30th September, 1994, the eye care facility was provided by Agarwal family through various partnership firms owned by family members. From 01.10.94 onwards, the entire hospital business is carried on by newly floated company. Dr.Agarwal Eye Hospital Limited & all the firms which were in this business upto 30th September, 1994 have ceased to carry on their operations from 01.10.1994 onwards. As such Dr.Agarwal Eye Hospital Limited has the distinct advantage of capitalising on the reputation built by Agarwals over a period of 37 years & aim at further growth by carrying out immediate expansion.

2002 -Dr Agarwal Eye Hospital Ltd has informed BSE that Dr Sunita Agarwal Wholetime Director & Mr Pankaj Sodhi Wholetime Director of Comp. have resigned from the Board of Directors of Comp. & they cease to be Directors of Comp. wef October 01, 2002.

-Dr Agarwal Eye Hospital Ltd has informed that Mr Mohd Ahmad has ceased to be a Director of Comp. on Acc. of his death on November 12, 2002.

2008

-Dr Agarwals Eye Hospital Ltd has appointed Dr. Dipan Desai as the Additional Director [Independents] of Company, w.e.f. March 28, 2008.
