History of Dugar Housing Developments Ltd.

The Comp. was incorporated on October 23, 1992 as a Public limited Comp. & obtained certificate of commencement of business on March 22, 1993. The Comp. was promoted by Shri N. Tarachand Dugar, who has promoted various companies under Dugar group. Though the group has another housing finance company, the same is closely held & caters to very small borrowers/employees.

In order to enter the housing finance sector in a big way, Dugar Housing Development Finance India Limited was formed. The shareholders of Comp. have also passed a special resolution on 7.6.1994 authorising the Comp. to enter Property development activity also. The Comp. is taking necessary steps to get the Comp. Law Board approval for inclusion of Property Development business in the object clause of Memorandum of Association.
