History of Enkei Castalloy Ltd

Pegasus Castalloy limited was incorporated in the State of Maharashtra on December 19, 1990 as Pegasus Wheels Pvt. limited & by passing a special resolution on September 30, 1994. was converted into a Public Limited Comp. & the name was changed to Pegasus Castalloy Ltd & a fresh Certificate of Incorporation dated October 18, 1994 was obtained from the Registrar of Companies, Maharashtra.

The Comp. is setting up a foundry with a capacity to produce 2000 M.T. per annum of aluminium castings such as cylinder heads, intake manifolds, crank cases etc., for automobile, engine & engineering industries.

The Indian Promoter has entered into a Joint Venture with SOFIGIC on 06.12.1994 which is a Comp. registered under the laws of France & which is the holding Comp. for SIFA S.A which has an aluminium foundry in France. The collaboration is for technical assistance & equityparticipation.

2002-Pegasus Castalloy Ltd has informed BSE that Mr Junichi Suzuki & Mr Tetsuro Masui have been appointed as directors of Comp. on September 30, 2002. They are representing Enkei Corporation, Japan, who is holding 38% of paid-up capital of company.
