History of Haldyn Glass Gujarat Ltd.

YEAR EVENTS 1991 - The Comp. was incorporated on 25th April, on a public limited Comp. & received Certificate of Commencement of Business on 1st October. The Comp. was promoted by Haldyn Glass Ltd. engaged in the manufacture of soda lime flint & amber glass bottles.

1995 - The Comp. proposed to set up a grass-root plant for the manufacture of 37,440 tonnes per annum of amber soda lime glass bottles in the capacity range of 30 ml. to 650 ml. at village Gavasad, Baroda, a category 11 backward area in Gujarat.

- During Jan./Feb. the Comp. offered 53,75,000 shares of Rs. 10 each at a premium as follows. Of which 21,58,750 shares [prem. Rs. 10s] were offered to the Haldyn Glass limited [All were accepteds] 2,50,000 shares [prem. Rs. 10s] were offered to the promoters, directors, their friends & relatives [All were accepteds] 5,91,250 equity shares [prem Rs. 10s] were offered to GIIC [All were accepteds] 4,75,000 shares [prem. Rs. 15s] were offered to IMF [All were accepteds] 5,25,000 shares [prem. Rs. 16s] were offered to NRIs, OCBs. [All were accepteds] & the balance 13,75,000 shares [prem. Rs. 10s] were offered to the public. [All were accepteds].

1996 - During the year the Comp. switched over to production of glass containers for pharmaceutical industry due to the imposition of prohibition in some of states.

2006

-Haldyn Glass Gujarat Ltd has appointed Mr. Tarun N Shetty as an Additional Director & also Wholetime Director of Comp. effective November 15, 2006.

2007

-Haldyn Glass Gujarat Ltd delists Securities of Comp. from Vadodara Stock Exchange Ltd [VSEs] with effective from January 09, 2007.

2008

- Haldyn Glass Gujarat Ltd has informed that the Board of Directors of Comp. at its meeting held on July 30, 2008, inter alia, Mrs. K J Udeshi has been appointed as a Director of Company, in place of causal vacancy.
