History of Hani Industries Ltd.

The Comp. was incorported as private limited Comp. under the Companies Act, 1956 on 23rd January, 1987 & subsequently converted to Public Limited Comp. on 16th August, 1991. It has also changed its name from Hani Synthetics Limited. to Hani Industries Limited vide certificate of 3.9.91. The existing Project is of manufacturing textured yarn & the Comp. had installed one draw texturising machine model SDS-600 with the financial assistance of term loan of Rs.93/- lacs jointly by GIIC & GSFC.

The main objects of Comp. are fully set out in the Memorandum of Association of Comp. as stated elsewhere, which include manufacture of texturised synthetic yarn. The Comp. is expanding its activities to manufacture 850 TPA [expansion onlys] Texturised, Twisted & Sized Filament Yarn. The project is located at 1408-1409, GIDC Estate, Ankleshwar which is 60 km. away from main market for Synthetic Yarn, Surat.

The Comp. has been promoted by Mr. Aiyubbhai N Guliwala, aged 38 years. He Possesses a Degree in Science & Diploma in Textiles. He has around 15 years' experience in hand processing of cotton textiles fabrics in his famiily business concern M/s. Hani Textiles.

The other promoter Mr. Yusuf Shamshir is also having wide experience of around 8 years in processing cotton textiles fabrics.

The management of Comp. is vested in the Board of Directors comprising of Industrialists, professionals & persons with extensive technical, commercial & administrative experience.
