History of Hanjer Fibres Ltd.

Hanjer Fibres Limited was incorported under the Act as a Public Limited Comp. which with the Registrar of Companies, Maharastra at Bombay on 14th November, 1991 & received certificate of commencement of Business on 27th January 1992.

The Comp. has set up an open ended spinning unit for manufacture of coarse cotton yarns at Village Motta Borsora, Taluka Mangrol, Dist. Surat, Gujarat with 3 open end spinning machines having aggregate capacity of 504 rotors. The Cost of project appraised by GIIC at Rs.454 lacs has been financed by equity from promoters of Rs.204 lacs, term loans of Rs.220 lacs & state subsidy of Rs.30 lacs. The Project started commercial production from April 1993. The Comp. is now expanding its spinning capacity from 504 rotors to 1200 rotors by installing 4 open end spinning machines.
