History of Hemi Petro Products Ltd.

M/s. Hemi Petro Products Limited [HPPLs] a Public Limited Company, incorporated on 19.9.1991 to set up a project to manufacture 24000 TPA of various grades of Blown Bitumen [out of which 7575 TPA would captively consumeds], 20400 TPA of various grades of Bituminous Emulsion & 2.00 lacs Nos. p.a. of tarfelt Rolls [20m 1ms] at village Poicha, Tal: Savli, Dist. Vadodara.

The Blown Bitumens are used for Water Proofing, printing inks, plastic flooring, paint manufacturing, rubber tubes/tyres etc. The Bituminous Emulsions find applications as anticorrosive paints, electric cable compounds/junction boxes, adhesive for Tarfelt, insulation, applications on roads etc. Tarfelt Rolls are used for water proofing at ducts, building roofs, undergrown pipings and packaging.

The promoters are associated with manufacturing & marketing activities of similar products since many years.

They now propose to set up manufacturing unit near Baroda nearer to the source of their principal raw material viz. Bitumen from Indian Oil Corporation [IOCs]. The cost of project is estimated at Rs.463.00 lacs which is proposed to be financed by way of equity share capital from promoters of Rs.108.00 lacs, public issue of Rs.255.00 lacs, subsidy of Rs.25.00 lacs and term loan of Rs.75.00 lacs from GIIC.

MAIN OBJECTS OF THE COMPANY:

The main objects of Comp. as set out in the Memorandum and Articles of Association are as under:

1. To carry on the business as manufacturers, manufacturers representatives, exporters, importers, factors, agents, consignors, consignees, traders & distributors of all classes, kinds, types, description & nature of petrochemicals and derivates thereof & related chemicals for data processing, surface coating, combination, insulation, cold storage, paints and other industries & also bitumen based chemicals & its derivatives.
