History of Hillock Agro Foods [Indias] Ltd.

The Comp. was incorporated on 3rd, August, 1993 under the Companies Act, 1956 with Registrar of Companies - Gujarat at Ahmedabad as HILLOCK AGRO FOODS [INDIAs] LIMITED with the main object of processing Wheat, Grams & manufacture Maida, Rava/suji, Whole Mill Atta, Atta & Besan. The Comp. shall be at present concentrating on manufacturing Wheat products like Maida, Rava/Suji, Atta and Whole Mill Atta under Brand Name of 'VIJETA', with the installed capacity to process 30000 MT of wheat per annum. The Comp. has obtained all the required licenses/approvals for project & is in the process of implementing the aforesaid project. The Comp. obtained the certificate of commencement of business on 24th August, 1993. After obtaining Certificate of commencement of Business, the process of identification of project site, preparation of project report, preparation of Building plans, identification of machinery suppliers, appraisal of report, arrangement of Term Loan and working capital finance from Bank of Baroda were undertaken. The procedure for obtaining N.A. permission of land was simultaneously undertaken. On N.A. permission for block Nos. 66, 67, 68, 69 has been received and construction work for building has commenced. The Comp. has commenced marketing of Maida, Rava, Suji under 'Vijeta Brand' in consumer packs in Ahmedabad market by purchasing finished products in wholesale and re-packing it in consumer packs in city of Ahmedabad from 24th October, 1994.
