YEAR EVENTS 1989 - The Comp. was incorporated on June 15, & obtained the commencement of business on August 7.

- The Comp. has been promoted by Maharashtra Petrochemicals Corporation limited [MPCLs] & Vinati Enterprises, a partnership firm of which Mr. Vinod Saraf is the principal partner. MPCL is a government of Maharashtra Undertaking, set up in 1981, primarily to promote petrochemical & petrochemical based industries in Maharashtra.

1992 - The public issue of 25,50,000 equity shares of Rs. 10/- each for cash at par had overwhelming response from the investing public & the issue was oversubscribed by 41.2 times, a remarkable appreciation of project of new company, by investors.

2000 - The Comp. to issue 10 lakh equity shares of Rs.10 each at the rate of Rs.11.10 or as near thereto as the board may think fit in accordance with the SEBI guidelines on preferential isue of shares.
