History of Hotel Sree Krishna Ltd.

YEAR EVENTS 1972 - Hotel Sree Krishna Limited [HSKLs] was incorporated under the Companies Act, 1956 in Hyderabad, Andhra Pradesh on 7th July, as a private limited company & was converted into a public limited Comp. on 9th March, 1989.

- The Comp. was a partner since 22nd April 1982 in M/s Sree Krishna Enterprises which was formed to carry on the business of construction of hotels & commercial complexes. The partnership firm was dissolved on 1st December, 1984 & the Comp. took over a portion of assets & liabilities of dissolved firm.

- The Comp. has not commenced any commercial operations as yet. The Company is presently involved in setting up of 5 Star Hotel with 162 rooms at Hyderabad, Andhra Pradesh in collaboration with M/s Bass European Holdings NV, Netherlands, owners of the Holiday Inn chain of hotels worldwide.

- Hotel Sree Krishna Limited has been promoted by Shri G V Krishna Reddy & Smt. G Indira Krishna Reddy who have promoted Novopan India Limited, engaged in the manufacture of particle boards & GVK Hotels Limited whose 5 star hotel Krishna Oberoi is situated at Hyderabad, Shri G V Sanjay Reddy, promoter, joined the Board as Executive Director on 23rd May, 1989.

2000 - Trading in the equity shares of Comp. will be suspended from 31st May on Acc. of amalgamation with Taj GVK Hotels & Resorts Ltd.
