History of Laffans Petrochemicals Ltd.

The Comp. was incorporated as Laffans Petrochemicals Private Limited on 12th November, 1991 in the state of Maharashtra & was converted into a public limited Comp. vide special resolution on 3rd February, 1992. The certificate of incorporation was amended accordingly by Registrar of Companies on 2nd March, 1992.

The Comp. has shifted its Registered Office from State of Maharashtra to the State of Gujarat, pursuant to Comp. Law Board [W.Rs] order passed on 11-05-92.

The Comp. is promoted by Laffans [Indias] Pvt. Ltd., Mr. Prem Seth & Mr. Sandeep Seth.

The Comp. is presently engaged in the manufacture of Glycol Ethers, Ethoxylates under Phase i at GIDC, Panoli, Taluka Ankleshwar, Dist Bharuch. The installed capacties are as follows :

Glycol Ethers 2438 MTPA Ethoxylates 400 MTPA

The Comp. also proposes to set up a project to manufacture under Phase II, Ethanolamines, Speciality Amines & Glycol Ether Acetates with an installed capacity of 1100 MTPA, 600 MTPA & 275 MTPA respectively at GIDC, Panoli, District Bharuch with a total installed capacity of 1975 MTPA.
