History of Lahoti Overseas Ltd.

Lahoti Overseas limited was incorporated in the State of Maharashtra with the name of LAHOTI OVERSEAS PVT. LTD. on 24th April, 1995 tinder the Companies Act, 1956. Subsequently, the Comp. has been converted into Public Limited Comp. by passing a Special Resolution on 26th April, 1995 & obtained fresh Certificate of Incorporation dated 29th May 1995 from the Registrar of Companies, Maharashtra, Bombay.

The Comp. was promoted by Shri Umesh Lahoti with the object of taking over as a going concern the business of the erstwhile Partnership Firm M/s. LAHOTI EXPORTS [a Merchant Exporters] including all the assets and liabilities.

M/S. LAHOTI EXPORTS was set up in 1990 by Shri Ujwal Lahoti and Shri Umesh Lahoti as a Partnership Firm with the object of export of cotton yarns. Initially the firm turnover consisted mainly of exports on commission basis with only a small proportion of direct exports & later on it started exports directly to have a better return on investment. The firm turnover has shown an impressive growth from Rs. 3.19 Lacs in 1991-92 to Rs. 2473.79 Lacs in the year 1994-95.

LAHOTI EXPORTS is engaged in the export of cotton yarns of various counts. The firm carried Out its export and management from Bombay Office, 307, Arun Chambers, Tardeo Road, Bombay - 400 034. The firm carried out its purchase operation from its head office at 57, Guruwar Peth, Karad - 415 110, a Cotton Spinning Mill area.

- Lahoti Overseas Ltd has been selected for Awards by Federation of Indian Export Organization [FIEOs] and The Cotton Textiles Export Promotion Council [TEXPROCILs], which are the export promotion bodies sponsored by Government of India.
