History of Nachmo Knitex Ltd.

Namco Knitex Ltd formerly known as Nachmo Marketing Private Limited was incorporated as a private limited Comp. on 23rd April, 1981 in Gujarat. The Comp. changed its name to Nachmo Polyplast Private Ltd on 8th June, 1988 & was subsequently converted into a public limited Comp. on 26th March, 1993 by passing a special resolution on 26th February, 1993. NPL is currently inolved in marketing of Humidification Plants, Air conditioning systems & cell type Air Washer Plants. It is also engaged in manufacturing of melamine crockery, polyester filament & sized yarn.

The Humidification division of NPL has been in operations since the inception of Comp. & is marketing Humidification plants and Air conditioning systems.

The Melamine division of NPL was started in 1983-84 & was manufacturing melamine crockery under the selling agreement with Nuware India Ltd., New Delhi. In the year 1988, the Comp. entered the market with the brand name 'ORIENT', 'DELUXE' and 'NOVEMBER'. The range of design of crockery has been devised and printed by Ornamin GMBH and Co. KG. Germany. The capacity of division aggregates 20,000 dinner sets per annum.

The Sizing division was started in 1988-89 with installation of of one Amrit Lakshmi Zero twiist filament sizing machine with the capacity to manufacture 25 tonnes per month on the basis of 50 denier working.
