History of Nagreeka Exports Ltd.

YEAR EVENTS 1989 - The Comp. was incorporated on 6th March, with the main object of setting up a spinning unit for 100% export of cotton yarn.

- The Comp. has been promoted by Mr. Ishwarlal Patwari, who is also a co-promoter of Sterlite Industries [Indias] limited Other promoters of Comp. are Mr. Dwarkaprasad Agarwal, Mr. Sunil Kumar Patwari and Mr. Sushil Kumar Patwari.

- The Comp. is currently engaged in trading as merchant exporters of cotton yarn. It has been involved in exporting cotton yarn to Bangladesh and to some of East European countries.

- The Comp. is now setting up an 100 % EOU Spinning Mill project for spinning of double and single fine and medium counts of combed & carded cotton yarns.

1995 - The 100% EOU spinning mill has been commissioned in March.

1996 - The Comp. is considering doubling the capacity of spinning unit & addition of knitting machines.

1997 - The Comp. has pleased to inform that the 100% EOU Spinning Mill has been functional throughout the year under review & has achieved the targeted production level.

1999 - The Comp. has to set up a captive power project to achieve cost advantage on power consumption.

- The Comp. has obtained an ISO 9002 Certification in respect of Yarn & Knitted Fabric.

2000 - Nagreeka Exports Ltd has taken 10 per cent stake in a newly launched student-targeted portal, Buckleyourshoe.com.

2003 -Members approved the delisting of shares from Calcutta, Delhi & Ahmedabad Stock Exchanges.
