Narmada Macplst Drip Irrigation Systems Limited [hereinafter referred to as Narmadas] was incorporated on June 9, 1992 under the Companies Act, 1956 & obtained certificate of commencement of business on June 16, 1992.

The Comp. was promoted by Mr. Vajubhai Vaghasia, who is having nearly twenty one years of experience in the Plastic Industry. He has a group of companies engaged in the production & trading of various plastic items which find application in agricultural/irrigation systems. Shri Vaghasia is also the Managing Committee member of Plastic India Foundation, Bombay, Co-opted Member, Gujarat Chambers of Commerce & Industry & Regional Chairman of Federation of All India Small Scale Industries Association [FASSIs], besides being an active member of other industry associations. Since last twelve years he has been associated with Gujarat State Plastic Manufacturers Association & became its President in 1991. The Comp. has a technical tie u pwith CIPET [Cental Institute of Plastic Engineering & Toolss], an institute promoted by Ministry of Chemicals nd Fertilisers, Goverment of India.

The Comp. proposes to manufacture Drip Irrigation Systems at Santej, Taluka Kalol, District Mehsana, Gujarat. The Company, in its first year of operation [1992-93s] began marketing of Drip Irrigation Systems. The Comp. has started setting up marketing network by appointing Dealers, Distributors, Resident Representatives at all India level. It obtained approval from Government for Product subsidy.

The group is dealing in manufacturing & marketing of rigid PVC pipes, fittings & drip irrigation systems.

The Comp. has installed drip irrigation systems in a few farms in Ahmedabad, Rajkot & Gandhinagar & other parts of Gujara by manufacuturing some of parts in one/more of group companies & buying drippers from the marekt for assembly & installation in the farm. The Comp. has installed drip irrigation system in fifty farms in Gujarat.
