History of Nidhi Granites Ltd.

YEAR EVENTS 1981 - The Comp. was Incorporated on 21st November, in the name of Hyperion Trading & Agencies limited for purpose of carrying out business in trading & agencies activities. Its main activity is export & mining. The Company object is to manufacture granite slabs & tiles.

- The Comp. is in the business of merchant export & was awarded Certificate of Merit by CAPEXIL Promotion Council for significant contribution to exports.

- The Comp. acquired 6 granite quarries in Rajasthan & undertook to acquire modern machines for quarrying granite blocks for exports. The Comp. raised an amount of Rs.1 crore through a Rights issue to start the quarrying at Rajasthan.

1995 - 75,000 No. of Equity shares issued, subscribed & paid-up. 2,25,000 No. of equity shares were then issued at par on 21st November, 1981 through a prospectus to the public. The Company issued 4,50,000 Rights shares [prop. 2:3s].

1996 - A High Court order was issued to the mining department, Rajasthan Claiming that forest area shouldn't be used for mining work, the mining department was instructed to shut down the mining work. However, the mining work of Comp. at Warangal in A.P. was reported to be in full swing.
