The Comp. was originally incorporated in the name of SHREEKANT PROPERTIES AND INVESTMENTS PVT.LTD on January 17, 1975 in the State of Maharashtra. The Comp. was converted into a Public Limited Comp. & the name was changed to SILVERCLOUD TEA INDUSTRIES LIMITED on 18th June 1992 and Fresh Certificate of Incorporation obtained from the Registrar of Companies, Maharashtra at Bombay. The name of the Comp. was further changed to SlLVERCLOUD INDUSTRIES LIMITED on 6th January 1993 & Fresh Certificate of Incorporation obtained from ROC Maharashtre at Bombay. The Company name was changed to reflect the present business activities of Company.

The Company Registered OffIce is situated at 201, Neelam, 108, Woril Sea Face, Worli, Bombay 400018 & their factory at Kotagiri, Nilgiri Diet. Tamilnadu.

Since Incorporation, no business activities were carried cut till 1978. From 1978 the Comp. was carrying out business of investing & fund lending till the year 1986. Thereafter, the Comp. decided to diversify into trading of salt. However, due to unsatisfactory performance In the salt business the Comp. started trading in Tea from 1991 onwards.
