History of Norris Medicines Ltd.

Norris Medicines Limited was established as a private limited Comp. in the state of Maharashtra on 7th September 1990. The Comp. commenced commercial operations in November 1991 with the commissioning of formulations unit. The unit was set up at a total capacity outlay of Rs 135.85 lakhs, which was financed by equity contribution from the promoters & associates to the extent of Rs 108.12 lakhs & term loan of Rs 27.73 lakhs from Gujarat State Finance Corporation. Norris was converted into a public limited Comp. with effect from 7th March 1992.

2000 - The Comp. has decided to issue 1,80,00,000 No. of equity shares of Rs. 10 each on preferential/private placement basis at a price not less than Rs. 10 per share to PHC Holdings Ltd., 90,00,000 shares & Positive Healthcare [Asias] Ltd.
