History of Nova Steels [Indias] Ltd.

The Comp. was originally incorporated on 12th July, 1973 under the name of Ajanta Iron and Steel Comp. Private Limited. The name of Comp. was changed to Nova Tor Steel Private Limited on 28th November, 1990 & then to Nova Steels [Indias] Pvt. Ltd., on 15.07.1991 & later on the word 'Private' was deleted & the Coompany became Public Limited Comp. under section 44 of Companies Act, 1956 on 13.03.1992. Nova Steels [Indias] [NSILs] is engaged in the manufacture of bars & twisted bars with an installed capacity of 61,200 tpa at its plant located at Loni Road, Shahdara, Delhi. Later in early March, 1990, the Comp. was taken over by Shri Ashok Kumar Agarwal. Ajanta Iron & Steel Comp. [Ps] Ltd., was acquired by present management during the month of September, 1990 by purchasing shares of Face Value of Rs.25 lacs.
