YEAR EVENTS 1990 - Nubal [Indias] Limited was originally incorporated under the name Nubal Electronics [Indias] Limited as a public limited Comp. on December 5, & obtained Certificate of Commencement of business on 02.01.91.
1991 - The technical know-how licence & technology agreement between Nubal [Indias] Limited & NEL was made on May 15, 1991
1992 - On November 23, the name of Comp. was changed to Nubal Industries [Indias] Limited & gain to Nubal [Indias] Limited on February 15, 1995.
- Nubal [Indias] Limited was set up as an SSl unit initially & its factory is presently situated at SIDCO Industrial Estate, Ambattur, Chennai.
- Nubal [Indias] Limited has been manufacturing its PCB equipment in India since 1991-92 & is exporting through its collaborator since 1992-93. The Comp. also manufactures engineering components like front engine support, assembly shaft brake cross, shaft/draft control for Tractor & Farm Equipment Limited [TAFEs], Chennai.
- Nubal [Indias] Limited has proposed to expand its capacity with all infrastructural facilities & relocate its PCB equipment manufacturing facility to its premises at Thirumalisai, SlDCO Industrial Estate, Chengai MGR district, Tamil Nadu.
- The Comp. will cease to be a SSl unit after the current expansion programme is implemented.
1996 - To enable substantial orders for new factory, the Comp. is entering into a new Licence and Technology agreement with our major buyers with a buyback agreement.
- Mr. Alan W. Lucas, Dr. B.C. Seetharam & Mr. Harish Kumar Gupta directors of the Comp. retire at the Fifth Annual General Meeting & being eligible offers themselves for re-appointment.
1997 - The Comp. has entered into a New License & Technology Agreement with the Foreign collaborators Nubal Electronics United, UK. & they will be increasing their share holding to 26% from the present holding of 14.17%.
- A preferential offer of 5,75,676 No. of Equity Shares of Rs. 10/- each is proposed, so as to increase their holding to 26%. This will enable the Comp. to finance its long term Working Capital.
- Shri. Harish Chadda, Shri. Vimal Poddar & Shri. Yogesh Gupta retire at the Sixth Annual General meeting & being eligible offer themselves for re-appointment.
1998 - Surendra Gupta, Alan Lucas, B. C. Seetharam retire at the Seventh Annual General Meeting & being eligible offer themselves for re-appointment.
- Due to sluggish market conditions through out the year, the Comp. was not able to generate business as projected in the prospectus.
1999 - Mr. Yogesh Gupta, retire at the Eighth Annual General Meeting & being eligible offer themselves for re-appointment.
- The Ambattur Unit was laid off due to the industrial recession in the engineering industry & subsequently it was closed since 27th of April.
2000 - The Board has allotted 5,75,676 No. of equity shares of Rs 10 each on preferential basis to Nubal Electronics Ltd., UK.
