History of Nufab Industries Ltd.

The Comp. was incorporated as a Private Limited Comp. on 8th September, 1987. The name of Comp. was subsequently changed to Nufab Industries Limited when it was converted into a Public Limited Comp. on 6.2.1992.

The Comp. was incorporated with the object of manufacturing texturised yarn, which is manufactured out of partially oriented yarn [POYs]. The Company plant is situated at Silvassa which is a union territory. Due to changes in Government Policies & rupee devaluation there is a very good demand for export of texturised yarn.

The Comp. proposes to set up an additional plant at Acchad, Talasari, Dist. Thane., which is a notified backward area & is eligible for cash subsidy & Sales Tax exemptions.

Under the present Licensing Policy of Government of India, the Comp. doesn't require any license. It has to get only a Reference Number from the Ministry of Industry in acknowledgement of Memorandum of Information submitted by Company. Accordingly reference No. 1594/SIA/IMO/92 dated 16.4.92 has been issued by Ministry of Industry, Government of India, Department of Industrial Development, in acknowledgement of Memorandum submitted by Comp. for manufacture of Texturised Yarn [other than sewing threads] of Polyesters.

A copy of same is open for Public inspection at the Registered Office of Company.

The present installed capacity of Comp. is 850 M.T. per annum on 80 Denier basis. The production in 1991-92 was 941.83 M.T.

The Company plant is presently located at Silvassa which is a Union Territory, which is well connected by road & rail. Commercial production commenced in January, 1988.

The anchor stones of Comp. are the three promoters viz. Mr.Satyanarayan Bhagchandka, Mr. Jagmohan Bhagchandka & Mr. Binodkumar Bhagchandka.
