History of Otoklin Plants and Equipment Ltd.

The Comp. was incorporated on 30th August, 1982, as a Private Limited Company. The Comp. joined as a partner in a partnership firm of M/s Otoklin Filters of India on 4th October, 1982. The Comp. was converted into a public limited Comp. on 15th September, 1983.

It was promoted by three Jhaveri Brothers, viz, Rajendra K.Jhaveri, Dilip K Jhaveri & Shirish K. Jhaveri.

The partnership firm 'Otoklin' originally made a modest beginning in 1969. It first plant at Andheri [Wests] was commissioned in 1974. Thereafter, the first unit at Taloja in Raigad District of Maharashtra State was established which went into commercial production partly in 1978 & fully in 1980.

Delkor Technic AG and Co of Switzerland & Passavant works AG and Co of West Germany are the two technical collaborators of Company.
