History of Rainbow Exports Ltd.

The Comp. was incorporated on 24th December, 1993 & obtained certificate of commencement of business on 10th Jan, 1994 from the Registrar of Companies, Maharashtra, Bombay with the main object of setting up a Export Oriented Unit for cutflowers and fresh vegetables. The Comp. has purchased 250 acres of Agriculture Contagious Land in Village Nilaj, Taluka Mangaon, District Raigad, Maharashtra & immediately started Pilot Production of vegetables on 7 acres for soil test, yield and commercial acceptability of product. The crop has given very good results.

PRESENT ACTIVITIES

The Comp. is implementing the project & starting commercial production by April, 95. The Comp. has already acquired land and completed land development activities. The Comp. has started the nursery for vegetable products.

THE MAIN OBJECTS OF THE COMPANY

The main objects of Comp. as set out in the Memorandum of Association of Comp. are as follows:

1. To carry on the business of acquiring & developing land for agricultural purpose, to cultivate & grow various trees, plantations, vegetables, fruits, medicinal herbs, cash crops, using ultra modern agro techniques to grow raise, tend, cultivate tea, coffee, chichona, rubber & such other produce of all types & to carry on the business of tea planters in all its branches & to carry on the business of cultivators and buyers of every kinds of vegetable or other produce of soil and to prepare, manufacture & render marketable such produce and t sell, dispose of & deal in any such produce either in prepared, manufactured or raw state & either by wholesale or retails.
