History of
Rasi Electrodes Ltd.
The Comp. was incorporated as a private limited Comp. on March 8, 1994. The Comp. was converted into a public limited Comp. on November 12, 1994. The Comp. is a small scale unit & registered with the District Industries Centre, Guindy, Madras. The registered office of
the Comp. is situated at Madras & the factory is located at Red Hills, about 25 km from the city of Madras. The Comp. has commenced commercial production of welding electrodes in the month of January 1995. The phase i of project for a production capacity of 900 tpa has been completed & the phase II for expansion of capacity to
3,300 tpa is under implementation.
PRESENT BUSINESS
The Comp. is in the business of manufacturing quality welding electrodes & it will be catering to the needs of wide ranging industries like Steel, Paper, Cement, Thermal Power, Automobile & Fertilisers. The Comp. commenced commercial production in January, 1995.

-The Comp. has issued Bonus Shares in the Ratio of 2:5.
