RATHI GRAPHIC TECHNOLOGIES LIMITED [RGTLs] was incorporated on 2nd December, 1991 with the main object of setting up a project for manufacture of toners & developers for reprographic purpose with an installed capacity of 330 TPA & 100 TPA respectively. The Comp. obtained certificate of commencement of business on 2nd July, 1992. The Comp. had planned to establish the project in Joint Venture with Uttar Pradesh State Industrial Development Corporation [UPSIDCs] & a triparte Memorandum of Understanding [MOUs] was also signed between Rathi Udyog Limited [on behalf of companys], Foreign Collaborator & UPSDIC. There was a change in the policy of Government of Uttar Pradesh to assist Industrial growth through PICUP & UPFC instead of UPSIDC. Due to which the Comp. lost one and half year. After that the Comp. had approached RIICO & a MOU was signed for Equity Participation with them.
