History of Ravi Spinning Ltd.

Ravi Spinning Ltd [RSLs] was originally incorporated on 24th June, 1986 as a Private Limited Comp. under the name & style of Ravi Spinning Private Limited with the object to set-up an industrial undertaking to manufacture high tensile coarse cotton yarn required for heavy duty fabrics & subsequently by passing a special resolution at the extra ordinary General meeting held on 10th January, 1994, the Comp. was converted to public limited under the Companies Act, 1956 & a fresh certificate of incorporation was obtained on 19th January, 1994 form the Registar of Companies, Maharashtra.

No activities were carried out by Comp. till end of 1989. The Comp. started trial production in April, 1993 & started commercial production in June,1993. The products manufactured have been well received in the market & the Comp. is operating at more than 85 % capacity.
