History of Regency Spin-Tex Ltd.

The Comp. was originally incorporated as a Private Limited Company on 1st March, 1989 under the name & style of Hiran Synthetics Private Limited. Subsequently the Comp. was converted into a Public Limited Comp. vide special resolution dated 15.4.95. Subsequently the name of company has been changed from Hiran Synthetics Limited to Regency Spin-Tex limited vide special resolution dated 15.4.95 and obtained fresh certificate of incorporation dated 12-05-1995 from the Registrar of Companies, Gujarat at Ahmedabad. After the change in name, the management of Company has undergone change. New promoters have joined the Company in April 1995 & new directors inducted on the Board.

The name of Comp. was changed to 'Regency Spintex Limited' following induction of new directors, since the earlier name 'Hiran synthetics' related to a particular director on the board.

The Comp. is now in the process of implementing a project to manufacture 1900 M.T. per annum of Coarse Cotton Yarn. Gujarat State Financial Corporation is extending a term loan of Rs. 100 lacs for project. The promoters/directors of the Comp. have wide experience in the cotton industry.
