History of Reliance Industrial InfraStructure Ltd.

The Comp. was incorporated on 29th September, 1988 as a Public Limited Comp. & Certificate of Commencement of business was obtained on 4th January, 1989. The immediate object of Comp. is to undertake a project for laying of two cross country pipelines from Bharat Petroleum Corporation Ltd. [BPCLs] Refinery at Chembur in Bombay, Maharashtra to Reliance Industries Limited [RILs] Petrochemicals complex at Patalganga also in Maharashtra to transport petroleum feedstock from BPCL for exclusive use of RIL. The pipelines would be owned, maintained & operated by Comp. under an agreement entered into with RELIANCE Industries Limited [RILs]. The pipelines would be used for transport of their petroleum feedstock.

At a later stage subject to necessary approvals, the Comp. also proposes to undertake similar projects of creating infrastructure to service industries.

BACKGROUND OF PROMOTERS The Comp. has been promoted by Shri Satyapal Jain & associates. Shri Satypal Jain has over 12 years of experience in the iron & steel industry besides transport business. He is at present the Managing Director of Comet Steels Limited & a Director on the Board of Sipta Coated Steels limited
