Armour Polymers Limited was incorporated on 1st June, 1989 as a Private Limited Comp. in the State of Maharashtra & the Company became a Public Limited Comp. with effect from 3rd March, 1990.

Armour Chemicals Limited, the Promoter Comp. was founded by Dr Atma B Gupta, a technocrat with extensive experience in teaching and research, both in India & abroad. The Comp. set up its manufacturing facilities at Ankleshwar in 1984 at an investment of Rs 16 lacs for manufacture of Ampicillin Trihydrate and Amoxycillin Trihydrate. By 1991 the Comp. has achieved a turnover of Rs 47 crores with a post-tax profit of Rs 1.84 crores. Today, Armour Chemicals limited exports about 70% of its production to European countries, USSR & China.

Today Amour Chemicals limited is one of major producers of several sterile bulk drugs in India & is well known for its innovative R and D & short gestation period of up-scaling the technology in various chemical processes.

4. Vista Finance & Leasing [Ps] limited & Ushma Investment [Ps] Ltd are new companies promoted for purpose of carrying out leasing, investment & financing activities.
